Pedernales Falls State Park Spend the day with your furry best friend at Pedernales Falls State Park, where you can enjoy hiking along the 7-mile Wolf Mountain Trail as it winds along the canyons created by the Mescal and Tobacco creeks. The scenery is stunning and the park is steeped in history. The park has four miles of river frontage and 13 miles of hike and bike trails. The trails range from the 2.86-mile Painted Bunting Trail to the .26-mile Barred Owl Trail. Spend the day hiking along the river and then hop in a kayak with your pooch for an adventure on the water.
