Waterloo Recreation Area The Waterloo Recreation Area is a pet-friendly recreation area in Chelsea, MI. It is home to multiple campgrounds, cabins/yurts, beaches, picnic areas, fishing lakes, nature trails, hiking trails, mountain biking trails, equestrian trails, the Gerald Eddy Discovery Center, and much more. Hidden Lake Gardens Well-behaved pets are welcome at Hidden Lake Gardens. In an effort to keep the gardens and grounds beautiful and to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all pets and visitors, pet owners must keep pets on a leash of no more than six feet at all times, pick up and dispose of pet waste, remain on paths, trails, lawns and paved roads, and avoid swimming or wading in Hidden Lake or the pond.
