The Dog Bar The Dog Bar is Charlotte's one and only dog-friendly, off-leash bar, located in the historical North Davidson Street neighborhood, known as The Arts District or NODA. This unique concept was created and opened in 2005 by owner and operator, J.P. Brewer. William Davies Park William Davies Park provides plenty of space for your pup to run off leash and features separate areas for small and large dogs, seating areas, and trees for shade.


The park has two sides to it. One side is for small dogs from 20lbs on down, and the other is for big dogs fro 20lbs on up. Nice fenced in area plenty of water, running room, and toys. The parents also have a place to sit and watch their fur-children run wild. There plenty of trees around for some nice shade.

Swaney Pointe K-9 Park at Ramsey Creek Park This park is 4 acres, and completely fenced in, with lots of open space to run as well as some large patches of trees that provide plenty of shade. There are several picnic tables, and a platform located near the entrance with a constant supply of fresh running water. There are usually as many as 25 dogs there at a time, but they are said to always be very friendly and well-behaved. There is a large area for dogs 20+ lbs. and a smaller area for dogs 20- lbs. or elderly dogs. Great park and definitely worth the time to check out. See Details
