Newport Beach Leashed dogs are allowed before 10:00 am and after 4:30 pm on oceanfront beaches of Newport Beach, CA. On bay-front beaches, leashed dogs are allowed before 9:00 am and after 5:00 pm. The person in control of the dog must have in his or her possession, an implement or device capable of removing any feces deposited by the animal. Please note dogs are not permitted on the piers.
