Huntington Beach Best Friend Dog Park The Best Friend Dog Park is located in beautiful Huntington Central Park at the intersection of Edwards Street & Inlet Drive in Huntington Beach, CA. The dog park is separated into two sections. The larger section is for large dogs. The smaller section, measuring about a half-acre, is for small dogs and/or larger dogs with handicaps. From the Small Dog side, there is a beautiful view of Lake Huntington! There are drinking stations supplied with fresh water located throughout both sides of the dog park. In addition, there are canopied areas throughout the dog park for protection from the sun. Admission to the dog park is absolutely free. Disneyland Resort Kennel Club The Disneyland Kennel Club is located adjacent to the main entrance of the park. Dog owners may use the kennel club while they are in the park. Attendants are not permitted to feed, water, or walk pets, so owners must come back to attend to their pet's needs throughout the day. Owners must provide their own food, water, toys, blankets, and comfort items. Proof of vaccination paperwork is required. The Disneyland Resort Kennel Club opens 30 minutes prior to the earliest park opening time and typically closes 30 minutes after the latest park closing time. Shopping at Fashion Island Wonderful outdoor mall that is completely pet friendly. Just about all the stores in this upscale mall allow dogs to shop with their owners in the stores. The only disappointing thing is that none of the restaurants really allow dogs on their outdoor patios. Small dogs can get away with being in your purse, but bigger dogs are not usually able to hide very well. It is still worth going shopping here though as it is truly a doggie parade with all the various breeds cruising around on nice days. See Details

Because it is one of the largest and best dog parks in the area. It is totally fenced in and has water and dog bags at the Avalon entrance. Plus, there are two parking areas for park users. The main entrance is on Avalon and the second and smaller one is on Herone Pointe off of Seal Beach Blvd.This park has a old closed main road that cuts through it at the base and many nice trails that are branching on the above sloping hill. Also, you can hike the Hellman Trail which dead ends about a quarter mile north. It is right at the entrance to the park. Just make sure to keep your dog on a leash, since local leash laws are always in effect. See Details
