Hike uphill on this nicely paved trail that winds through bigleaf maple, alder, and spruce. After about 0.5 mile the trail crosses a creek, which is the last spot for Fido to cool off. Humbug Mountain, one of the most popular summits for hiking in this area, stands at 1756 feet. Signs of logging operations are prevalent on the drive to this trail. Hiking this short trail will be a pleasant escape to enjoy the unspoiled forest and its blooming rhododendron. Blacklock Point Trail Blacklock Point Trail is a somewhat easy, 9 mile hike in Floras Lake State Park that will take about 4 to 5 hours to complete with Fido. At 0.2 mile into the trail go right at the unmarked fork, then continue on another half mile to the marked fork.
