The Butze Rapids Loop Trail
The Butze Rapids Loop Trail is pet-friendly. Dogs are welcome on this easy hike. There are some hills, coastal rainforest pathways and a viewing platform. The loop will bring you right back where you started. Depending on the season you go you will see different kinds of flora and fauna. The Butze Rapids are a natural feature due to the tide around Kaien Island, which causes Fern Passage to reverse on each tide.
