Veterans Memorial Park The dog-friendly Veterans Memorial Park in Hamilton, NJ, is a 333-acre park that was built in honor of Hamilton's veterans in 1977. Approximately four miles of walking trails are sprinkled through wooded areas, with intermittent picnic grounds, rest stops, athletic fields, a large lake, and a dog park. The dog park has a well maintained, fenced-in, off-leash play area. There is a separate enclosure for large and small dogs with double-entry gates.
