    Tonto National Monument Tonto National Monument is pet-friendly. Dogs are allowed in the parking lot, on the Lower Cliff Dwelling trail and Cactus Patch trail, and in the picnic area. Make sure Fido is leashed at all times. Keeping your pet on a leash protects them from cactus, venomous animals, and keeps other visitors and pets safe. Make sure you clean up after your pet and bring water for them. Pets are not allowed in the Visitor Center, Museum, in the Lower Cliff Dwelling, in the Upper Cliff Dwelling, or on the Upper Cliff Dwelling Trail. The monument can be accessed every day of the week from 8am until 5pm. See Details
