This featured site on the Alabama Black Belt Birding Trail is home to a variety of waterfowl, songbirds, raptors, and both migrating and resident species. Other wildlife you might see include white-tailed deer and Eastern wild turkey. Dogs must be supervised at all times and are welcome in most areas of the park as long as they are leashed, except for inside bathhouses and swimming areas.
