Plymouth Bluff Environmental Center Dogs are welcome at Plymouth Bluff Environmental Center, where you and Fido will discover a pet-friendly four mile nature trail system. All of the trails allow Fido to wander on a leash with their owners. The Lake Trail is the shortest path in the area at well under a mile in length that loops around the lake. From the Lake Trail, you can access the Bluff Trail through a gap in the fence. This crushed limestone pathway winds through upland woods and along the top of a 70-foot-high bluff, providing views of the old Tombigbee River channel. Starting at the observation deck, the Old Channel Trail gives you the chance to go full Indiana Jones and hunt for fossils. The River and Scout Trails form a loop together, sloping up through woodlands. Plymouth Bluff Environmental Center is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. See Details
