Walk alongside ponds on tours and explore wonderful plants from the area and beyond. Dogs must be leashed and are not allowed inside the buildings. Admission is required for both humans and pooches; check their website for current prices. The Arboretum is located 4 miles south of Route 66 on scenic and rustic Woody Mountain Road. The first mile of Woody Mountain Road is paved and the remaining 3 miles are unpaved Forest Service road, but suitable for all vehicles. The posted speed limit for the Forest Service Road is 25 mph.
