Seashore Trolley Museum You and Fido can hop aboard a restored streetcar at the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, ME. The world's oldest and largest electric railway museum offers dog-friendly rides on a 1.5-mile private railway. You can hop on and off to hike a nearby trail system and then complete the loop with a return ride to the Visitor Center. Fido is welcome to stroll with you through the Visitor Center, three public exhibits, and an observation gallery, where you can see the restoration work taking place. Ferry Beach State Park Ferry Beach State Park is dog-friendly. You can bring Fido with you to enjoy this stunning golden sand beach and surrounding area. Visitors are reminded that no pets are allowed on State Park beaches between April 1 and September 30, they should always be on a leash under six feet, and all mess should be cleaned up after them. Along the shore and among the forest, you'll notice a stand of tupelo trees, also known as black gum, from the pet-friendly nature trail that weaves around the shoreline and among the swampy marshes.
