Pet Friendly Seapoint Beach in Kittery Point, ME
Locals love to bring their dogs to play at this rocky, pet-friendly beach. Kittery resident parking only. Dogs are not welcome between the hours of 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM from June 15th through September 10th.
Pet Friendly Fort Foster Park in Kittery Point, ME
Located on Gerrish Island in Kittery Point, Fort Foster offers three small but sandy beaches, an extensive trail system, restroom facilities in season, picnic areas, and old military fortifications to explore. The park features an excellent view of the entrance to Portsmouth Harbor, including Whaleback Light, Portsmouth Harbor Light and Fort Constitution. Season: The park is open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., seven days a week from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Rules: No littering, no alcohol, no hunting, 5 mph speed limit for cars. No windsurfing, kayaking or boat trailers allowed. Scuba diving and small unpowered watercraft allowed in designated area. Fires in grilles and fire pits only. Dogs: Allowed on leash. Pooper-scooper rules apply. Rates: $10 per car during season or $5 per walk-in or bike rider. Kittery locals can get a season pass for $10 ($5 for seniors). Facilities: Marked walking trails, picnic areas and cooking areas, recreation areas for groups, pavilion area available to rent for groups up to 100, long pier, rocky beach.
Pet Friendly Jenness Beach in Rye, NH
There is approximately a 1 1/4 stretch of beach in Rye New Hampshire. In the middle of that stretch along the coast is a parking lot. The State beach is actually directly in front of that parking lot and/or from house on the left to house on the right. Beaches on either side of that tiny State beach are town beaches. You could almost throw a softball from one end of the State beach to the other. Dogs are not allowed on the State beach. To get around that law (if you want to walk the entire length of the beach) just walk around the beach in the parking lot. The hours for dogs allowed on the beach Memorial Day to Labor Day are before 9:00 am and after 7:00 pm. Please read sign posted at all entrances.

Please keep dogs away from Piping Plover nests. June 16 through September 15 - OFF BEACH from 8:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. ON BEACH from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
