Pet Friendly Frankfort Beach
Frankfort Beach Located along Lake Michigan, Frankfort Beach features a dog run. Dog owners can access the pet-friendly area by designated paved and non-paved walkways. You can find these pathways at the end of Miami Street, Sac Street and the Lake Michigan Beach Turn-Around. The dog run is at the far north section of the beach, north of Miami Street. Here, pups can play under voice or whistle control. Please note your furry friends are not allowed on the beach area or out of the dog run. See Details
Pet Friendly Nelis' Dutch Village
Nelis' Dutch Village Fido is welcome at dog-friendly Nelis' Dutch Village in Holland, MI. This family-friendly attraction invites you and your leashed dog to learn the culture and history of the Netherlands. Snippets of daily life are presented around the park and tasty authentic candies, cheeses and other goods are available to buy. There is an admission fee for adults and children. Excitable dogs should stay out of the petting farm and are not permitted in food service areas. See Details
Detroit Riverfront Leashed dogs are welcome on the Detroit Riverfront in Detroit, MI. It spans from the Ambassador Bridge to Gabriel Richard Park, just east of the Belle Isle Bridge. Currently 2.5 miles of East Riverfront is complete and open to the public. See Details

Brys Estate Vineyard and Winery At Brys Estate Vineyard and Winery, dogs are permitted in a designated area of the Lawn Bar, an outdoor service area set up on an elevated grassy lawn that offers seating for guests to relax at and enjoy their beverages. Seney National Wildlife Refuge Seney National Wildlife Refuge, located in Germfask, MI near Seney, was established in 1935 for the protection and production of migratory birds and other wildlife. Today the refuge comprises a rich mosaic of marshes, swamps, bogs, grasslands and forests. There are dog-friendly trails, but Fido must remain leashed at all times. Pond Hill Farm Pond Hill Farm is a dog-friendly attraction in Harbor Springs, MI. Pond Hill Farm is a working farm where Fido is welcome in outdoor areas and can accompany you in the spacious dining tent or at outdoor tables on the deck. The café is open Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner. A selection of tasty farm to table dishes are served alongside wine, beer and hard cider. Brockway Mountain Drive Fido is welcome to join you along Brockway Mountain Drive, a 9.5-mile scenic route in Copper Harbor, MI. There are several overlooks where you can stop and take in the beauty of Lake Superior. The roadway may be busy between mid-April to mid-June when people visit to watch the migrating birds of prey. South Higgins Lake State Park There are two pet-friendly areas of shoreline at South Higgins Lake State Park in Roscommon, MI. The first is for campers-only and is near the west campground. The second area is in the day use area. Please contact the park for specific details. Pets must be on a six foot leash and under an owner's immediate control at all times. All pet waste must be properly disposed of in trash receptacles. South Higgins Lake State Park contains almost one mile of shoreline along Higgins Lake. As the second largest campground in a state park, the park's 400 modern camp sites are situated in a hardwood-shaded area. The park is very popular during the summer months and reservations must be made early. See Details
River Place Shops At River Place Shops in Frankenmuth, MI, you and your pooch will discover the authentic re-creation of an entire German/Bavarian Village. There are a number of dog-friendly places to stop with Fido, including candle stores, souvenir gift shops and more. Grab a brochure map that indicates which shops are dog friendly. This space is also home to an annual Frankenmuth Dog Bowl, along with several other dog friendly events throughout the year. Kirk Park Kirk Park is a pet-friendly attraction in Grand Haven, MI. The area offers nature trails with wooden stairways that wind through the dunes, offering spectacular views of Lake Michigan. In winter, they allow cross-country skiing, but please note the trails aren't groomed. Kirk Park also offers a dog-friendly beach, but have specific hours when Fido is allowed. See Details

Ludington State Park Ludington State Park is a dog-friendly trail and state park in Ludington, MI. Leashed pets are welcome to explore the State Park, which features beautiful hiking trails along Lake Hamlin. The hiking trails are wooded and cross several small islands. There are many places along the trail to sit and enjoy the lake. The Park does not allow pets in any water area used for swimming or wading, including Lake Michigan. However, pets are allowed on the Big Sable River (east of the highway bridge) and on Hamlin Lake (outside of the swim area) as well as other public park areas. See Details
Grand Ravines Dog Park Grand Ravines Dog Park in Jenison, MI, features 21 acres of an enclosed dog park, including separated fenced sections for large and small dogs. The area also has fenced walking trails, a drinking fountain, and a dog washing station. See Details
