Situated along three miles of shoreline on the Rogue River, this beautiful park is a must-see if you're visiting the Gold Hill area with your pooch. Take a hike on the easy, self-guided interpretive walking trail that takes you on a 1.25 mile stroll along the river's edge, intersecting with the Rogue River Greenway Trail. Take a detour onto this trail and explore 4 more miles of the park. Leashed dogs are welcome to explore with their owners, as long as they are well-behaved and cleaned up after. This pet-friendly hike near Seiad Valley, CA invites you to explore old-growth sugar pine and Douglas fir. There is not a lot of water on the trail so it is best to bring your own water supply.
