Pet Friendly Resurrection Pass Trail North
Resurrection Pass Trail North Resurrection Pass Trail North is a dog-friendly point to point route near Hope, AK. This 39 mile trail is popular for multi-day hiking, backpacking or cycling adventures between Hope and Cooper Landing. To begin the trail near Hope, drive to mile 15 on Hope Highway and turn south onto Resurrection Creek Road. Travel 4 miles to trailhead. This trail follows the narrow Resurrection Creek valley through spruce and birch forest, past gold mining areas, and gradually climbing into an alpine valley. Dogs should be leashed to protect wildlife in these areas. The trail is moderately difficult and snow can remain until mid-June. The best time to visit Resurrection Pass Trail North is between June and September. Designated backcountry campsites can be found at several mileage points along the trail, beginning at mile 4 if starting the trail in Hope. See Details
