Pet Friendly Oleta River State Park
Oleta River State Park Oleta River State Park is pet-friendly. Located 30 minutes from downtown Miami, this park is bisected by the Oleta River and is home to a lovely natural oasis of hardwood hammocks and mangroves. Escaping the hustle and bustle of Miami isn't difficult with this place on your doorstep. The area is actually Florida’s largest urban park, containing trails for mountain bikers, water sections for paddlers, anglers, and swimmers. Pets are not allowed at the beach, but leashed dogs are welcome to join you on the trails. Alternatively, you can bring Fido for a picnic at Biscayne Bay. Pet Friendly Biscayne National Park
Biscayne National Park Your dog is welcome to join you on-leash in the designated areas of the beautiful Biscayne National Park in Homestead, FL. Leashed dogs are welcome on the grounds at Convoy Point and Elliott Key. Dogs are not allowed at Boca Chita Key, including on boats docked in the harbor, and the Dante Fascell Visitor Center. Pets must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet and under your control at all times, and cannot be left unattended including inside a vehicle. Be sure to have Fido become a Biscayne B.A.R.K. South Dade Trail The South Dade Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors.
