    Nice walking trails

We had the privilege to visit Oleta River State Park on a cooler day in January. This is a nice park with several walking trails, picnic tables and restrooms along the way. We spent about an hour and a half walking the trails with our dog. Though dogs aren’t allowed on the beach there are plenty of spaces they are allowed on leash. It was not crowded though I could see this park getting full fast. If we lived in the area we would visit regularly.

Awesome location and great for a good time on the sand bar!

We rented a kayak and paddled down to the Haulover Sandbar. High tide was only about a foot that day (make sure you check the tides when you go) and our dog was able to stand up on the sandbar. She loved running around and playing with everyone and there were a few other dogs there!
