Neponset River Greenway
The Neponset River Greenway is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this dog-friendly "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Boston! Larz Anderson Park
Leashed dogs are welcome year-round at Larz Anderson Park in Brookline, MA. This pet-friendly park features walking trails, ponds and gardens to explore. This park also offers off-leash hours from March through November between the hours of dawn and 1:00 PM in the unfenced area at the top of the hill on the Avon Street side of the park. Dogs must be registered with the Green Dog Program for these off-leash privileges. Fido must be leashed throughout the remainder of the park at all times and any day or time outside of the designated off-leash hours.
