Pet Friendly Yamaska National Park
Yamaska National Park Yamaska National Park is pet-friendly. Whether you're on a bicycle or on foot, you can enjoy travelling several kilometers to take in the pure air of nature and discover a valley typical of the Appalachian Lowlands. Leashed dogs are welcome in designated areas. There is one summer trail, La Forestière, two campsites, Les Grives and Les Bruants campgrounds, two picnic areas, and two nautical access points that allow dogs. Yamaska National Park is open every day of the week from 8am to 9pm. See Details
Pet Friendly Gaspesie National Park
Gaspesie National Park Gaspesie National Park is pet-friendly. Known for its beautiful hiking trails, the park is also home to a variety of plants and flowers. Leashed dogs are allowed on two summer trails, La Lucarne and La Chute-Sainte-Anne. You can extend your stay in on of the two campgrounds, De la Rivière campground and De la Vallée RV area. Forillon National Park Forillon National Park in Gaspe, QC, is dog-friendly. This park offers a number of hiking trails that range from easy to difficult. All trails allow you to appreciate the natural beauty of this protected area, and several are part of the International Appalachian Trail. The trails are perfect for strolling with your pooch and will take you to pebble beaches and to historical buildings that overlook the bay. See if you can catch a glimpse of seals playing in the surf nearby. Dogs are allowed on the hiking trails but must be on a leash at all times. Cidrerie Michel Jodoin Cidrerie Michel Jodoin is pet-friendly. Leashed dogs are allowed on the hiking trails at the Cidrerie Michel Jodoin on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. There are 3.6 km of trail on the mountain, taking an average of 1.5 hours. Dogs are welcome spring, summer, and fall from 9am to 4pm and winter from 9am to 3pm. See Details
Parc Le Rocher Parc Le Rocher is pet-friendly. This 125 hectare municipal park is located in Saint-Amable and welcomes leashed dogs to join their owners on the trails. The marshland that now exists here used to house a sandpit, but Fido would have to dig for a while to find any. When it's snowy out, slip on your snowshoes and tread the trails that wind through trees together. See Details
Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie National Park The Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie National Park is a pet-friendly provincial park in the Charlevoix region of Saint-Aimé-des-Lacs, Quebec. The Malbaie River Gorge is the centrepiece of the UNESCO Charlevoix biosphere reserve. The park is not actually included within the National Park system, but is a gorgeous place to visit with your pooch all the same. Please leash and clean up after Fido while visiting. Dogs are not permitted on the park's shuttle. See Details
Aiguebelle National Park Aiguebelle National Park is pet-friendly. This natural jewel of the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region is home to a variety of geological phenomenon and diverse wildlife. A 22-metre-high suspended walkway offers a thrilling crossing over a gigantic fault. From this vantage point you can admire scenery that has been deeply marked by the work of billions of years. Lake-Saint-François National Wildlife Area Lake-Saint-François National Wildlife Area in Saint-Anicet, QC is pet friendly. This protected reserve located on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River welcomes Fido to join you for some fresh air and exercise on over 10 kilometers of trails through forests and on boardwalks in the marshland. Gatineau Park Gatineau Park in Gatineau, QC is pet friendly. The largest green space in the region is also the second most-visited park in Canada, and a great place to bring your pooch for an afternoon stroll. Leashed dogs are permitted to explore most of the trails in the park, except four which are clearly marked as not dog-friendly. Highlights for hiking hounds include the Sugarbush Trail, Lauriault Trail, Pioneers Trail and Capital Pathway, all of which are open to dogs and their owners year-round.
