July brings six hotels that are opening their doors to furry guests for the first time. From The Centennial State to The Lone Star State, Fido can rest his paws at these newly pet-friendly accommodations across America this month.

Grand Lake Lodge

Located in the heart of The Rocky Mountains, Grand Lake Lodge is the perfect basecamp for canine outdoor adventurers. Settle into cozy cabins featuring small dining tables, mini refrigerators and microwaves, free WiFi, cable TV and private bathrooms with walk-in showers. Soak in picturesque lake views while dining at the in-house tavern, explore the nearby woodland hiking trails, cool off in the outdoor swimming pool and nature watch on the fire pit deer deck.

Take a short drive to downtown Grand Lake for a hearty lunch on the dog-friendly patio at Cy’s Deli.

Grand Lake Lodge welcomes two dogs of any size for an additional fee of $50 per pet, per stay.

Posh pups can live in the lap of luxury at Costa Hollywood Beach Resort, an oceanside retreat steps from the beach boardwalk. Condo-style suites offer hardwood flooring, work desks, mini refrigerators and private balconies. Start the day at the on-site coffee house, work out in a state-of-the-art gym, cruise the boardwalk on a rental bike, load up on snacks at the lobby market and bask in the sun with a refreshing drink at the rooftop pool lounge.

The nearby Poinciana Neighborhood Dog Park boasts separate fenced areas for large and small dogs, water fountains and shade trees.

Costa Hollywood Beach Resort accepts two pets up to 25 lbs for an additional fee of $100 per stay.

Built in 1953, the retro-style Royal Grove Waikiki offers two- and four-legged guests a charming atmosphere in a convenient downtown location. Vintage rooms provide free WiFi, cable TV and mini refrigerators, while deluxe suites include sleeper sofas, dining tables, and full kitchens equipped with four-burner stoves and microwaves. Guests can utilize excellent property amenities such as the outdoor swimming pool and coin-operated laundry room.
