October brings six hotels that are opening their doors to furry guests for the first time. From Western Tennessee to Northern California, Fido can rest his paws at these newly pet-friendly accommodations across America this month.

The Rambler
Located within walking distance of famous Beale Street, The Rambler is where all the hip dogs and cats stay when visiting Memphis. Apartment-style rooms boast loft ceilings, hardwood flooring, separate living areas, full kitchens with stoves and refrigerators, and private bathrooms with walk-in showers. Take advantage of complimentary WiFi access, an on-site laundry room and the outdoor swimming pool.
Fido can boogie on down to an outdoor table at the nearby Rum Boogie Cafe, which serves an array of authentic Cajun cuisine.
The Rambler welcomes pets of any size for an additional fee of $50 per stay.
The Four Seasons Island Resort
Two- and four-legged guests will discover scenic luxury at The Four Seasons Island Resort. Nestled on the 100-acre Miscauno Island in the Menominee River, this vacation destination offers cozy rooms and suites outfitted with separate lounge areas, kitchenettes, whirlpool soaking tubs, and private porches or balconies. Excellent property amenities include an indoor pool, fitness center, 9-hole golf course, and an on-site steakhouse, bar and ice cream parlor.
Leashed pups can walk the trail and splash in the water at Dave’s Falls Park, located 10 miles from the resort.
Four Seasons Island Resort accepts pets of any size for an additional fee of $25 per night.
Beatnik Motel
Pups can channel their inner Jack Kerouac at the Beatnik Motel, a unique hideaway that embraces the adventurous spirit of its namesake. A quartet of contemporary cabins include hardwood floors, writing desks, Smart TVs, wet bars, spa-like bathrooms, private patios and outdoor showers. Spend the day soaking in the refreshing lap pool or soaking up some rays in a lounge chair, then wind down in the evening roasting s’mores at the community fire pit.
Fido can snap a selfie at the nearby Crooked Feather Sculpture, a 30-foot-high carved statue that pays tribute to Native Americans.
Hotel Beatnik welcomes two dogs up to 40 lbs for an additional fee of $100 per stay.
Commodore Hotel
Furry travelers seeking comfort for the night will feel right at home at the Commodore Hotel. This downtown refuge offers European-style cabin rooms and spacious suites equipped with hardwood floors, sofa lounge areas, free WiFi, flat-screen televisions and either private or shared bathrooms. Dine in the on-site restaurant, stock up on supplies in the lobby convenience store and mingle with other guests at the manager’s evening reception.
Stroll down to the nearby Bowpicker Fish & Chips to enjoy a local delicacy at a dog-friendly picnic table.

Scholar Morgantown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
Scholar Morgantown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton delivers first-rate pet-friendly accommodations only steps away from downtown and West Virginia University. Stylish, modern rooms and suites contain large work desks, sitting chairs/sofas, mini refrigerators, Keurig coffee makers and free WiFi access. Work out in the 24/7 fitness center, grab a beer or cocktail in the lobby bar and snag some snacks and drinks from the on-site pantry.
Located three blocks away, Stanley’s Spot Dog Park allows Fido to play off leash and provides separate sections for large and small pups, water fountains and benches.
Scholar Morgantown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton welcomes dogs up to 50 lbs for an additional fee of $35 per stay.
The Weller House
Located on the picturesque Mendocino Coast of Northern California, The Weller House provides historic boutique accommodations for canines and their owners. Choose from two styles of rooms decorated with either old-world antique furnishings or bright and airy beach themes, and featuring hardwood floors, kitchens, jetted tubs, and ocean, city or garden views. Parking and WiFi are both free of charge. Guests can gather on the backyard fire pit patio for a relaxing evening beneath the stars.
Only two blocks away, North Coast Brewing Co. serves craft beer and tasty eats in a dog-friendly tented outdoor seating area.
