Pet owners and their furry companions are invited to showcase their creative costumes along North Beaver Street, between Philadelphia and Market Streets. As part of the annual Oktoberfest at The Wharf festival, the crowd favorite Wiener dog races will be hosted by Tommy McFly. Prizes are awarded to the speediest dogs. All breeds are welcome to watch, but only Dachshunds can participate in the race. There will also be an Adoptable Dog Parade between the Dachshund races.

This annual event will feature fun for the whole family, including a pet blessing, costume contest, vendors, silent auction, and more! Registration starts at 9:00 AM, the 5K run kicks off at 10:00 AM, and the one-mile walk begins at 10:05 AM. This event is hosted rain or shine, so participants should dress accordingly.
