Leashed dogs are invited to join this family-friendly 5K and 10K run/walk supported by the Traverse City Track Club. The scenic 5K winds along hard-packed sand roads, while the 10K offers a more challenging trail experience. Stick around after the race to relax and celebrate at the medal ceremony. Dogs should remain in the car with you until just prior to the race start time. 10K starts at 8:30 AM, and 5K starts at 8:45 AM.

Members receive early entry at 9 AM with free admission for both humans and dogs; general visitors can join from 10 AM with standard admission and a small fee per dog. To keep the experience safe and enjoyable for all guests, dogs must be supervised, vaccinated, and kept on established paths, with certain areas of the garden remaining dog‑free.
