Dog Admission Day at Morton Arboretum
Pups are welcome to enjoy roaming the 16 miles of hiking trails around the Arboretum several times a year on select days! Dogs must be leashed at all times and have updated vaccinations and registrations. For the safety of both your pet and the natural environment, do not let dogs go off the marked trails. Please clean up after your pet; bags are available at the Visitor Center.

Bring Fido to this outdoor holiday market featuring vendors from around the world who display hand-crafted ornaments, toys and unique holiday gifts as well as traditional German, local and international foods, sweets and beverages. The event includes special events, performers and activities. Leashed dogs are allowed in the outside area of the market, but aren't permitted in the inside areas. CTA Holiday Train & Bus
The CTA Holiday Fleet is a festive tradition in Chicago, featuring a holiday-themed train and bus decorated with lights, garlands, and cheerful holiday scenes. This beloved event allows riders to bring small dogs in carriers along for the fun! Santa Claus himself rides along with his reindeer, with photos available on certain dates. The train and bus begin travel in late November through late December as part of regular service, making stops at all stations along the respective routes. Schedules for each rail line and bus route will vary. Normal CTA fares apply.
