Dog Events in Ladysmith, BC

On the final day of Fremont Oktoberfest, leashed and friendly pups are invited to join the fun! This 21+ event offers beer tasting, stein hoisting, live music, and the vibrant, non-traditional outdoor Oktoberfest atmosphere that defines Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood. Four-legged guests will be treated to a free doggie bandana, collapsible pet bowl, and waste bags while supplies last.

Enjoy arts and crafts, food, music, and of course, lots of fresh crab and seafood! Fido is welcome to join you in the outside areas, but isn't allowed inside the main tent - Crab Central - where crab dinners and other food are served.

Bring Fido for a run to kickstart the holiday season! Leashed dogs are welcome, and awards will be given to top-place finishers and medals for all finishers. The race kicks off at 10 AM. Please note there is no parking at Cookie Mill.

This annual event features a pet parade, costume contest, and photo booth featuring the Great Pumpkin. Registration opens at 1:00 PM, with the parade and judging beginning at 1:30 PM, awarding prizes in Spookiest, Funniest, Most Creative, Best Group, and Best in Show categories. Guests are encouraged to bring pet food donations for the Ballard Food Bank.

The Arthritis Foundation’s race is the original festive race for charity with your pup. It’s where you can strut your stuff in your favorite holiday costume. Bring a team of friends, family, and co-workers to run or walk. Please ensure your dog is kept on a leash. Check-in starts at 7 AM and the race begins at 9 AM.
