Avila Beach 4th of July Doggie Parade This festive, family- and dog-friendly Independence Day tradition invites costumed dogs and their humans to parade along the Avila Promenade starting at San Miguel and Front Street, competing in categories like cutest costume, best dog-owner look-alike, and funniest outfit. Each canine participant receives a ribbon and goodie bag! Pre-registration is available online or on the morning of the event.
