Start off your day with a one-mile fun run with Fido through Ashley Park followed by live entertainment, pet vendors and lots of family-friendly activities. Hearts ‘n Homes will also have dogs on site that are in need of furever homes.

On select dates, attendees can relax in an open-air setting while watching a live baseball game on a large screen, with plenty of space for pups to join in the fun. OktoFURfest is part of the annual Cullman Oktoberfest weekend and includes the festival's famous Wiener Dog Races, a pet costume contest, and more fun for Fido! Stick around after the races for Yappy Hour at the Wüffenplatz Dog Park at 5 PM.

Runners and their pups will take on wide, easy-to-navigate trails featuring rolling, flowy terrain for the first three miles, followed by a one-mile climb back to the finish. Traditional leashes and canicross setups are welcome, but please note flexi-leashes or face collars are not permitted. Fido can join the 4-mile dog-friendly race, or watch from the sidelines as the regular 4-mile race begins 30 minutes later.

Explore Alabama's wildlife and outdoor traditions with your leashed pup at this annual festival in historic downtown Wetumpka. The event features wildlife art, live painting, educational presentations, workshops, vendors, food, children's activities, sporting dog demonstrations, animal encounters, and a DockDogs competition featuring Big Air, Extreme Vertical, and Speed Retrieve.

This dog-friendly holiday celebration features live entertainment, special guest appearances and a festive tree-lighting ceremony with Santa. After the tree is lit, families can relax on the green and enjoy a cozy outdoor movie on the plaza screen.

The Arthritis Foundation’s race is the original festive race for charity with your pup. It’s where you can strut your stuff in your favorite holiday costume. Bring a team of friends, family, and co-workers to run or walk. Please ensure your dog is kept on a leash. Check-in is at 8 AM and the race begins at 9 AM.

This dog-friendly holiday photo experience invites pups to visit Santa for a free photo at his Post Office on select Thursdays in December. The event is first-come, first-served, with a waitlist and text notifications available if a line forms. Pet parents can take photos with their own cameras while enjoying a festive outing at The Battery Atlanta.

On select Mondays and Tuesdays (scheduled this year for November 16th and 17th, the 23rd and 24th, and December 21st and 22nd), wander with Fido on a 1.75-mile path through millions of twinkling LED lights, holiday displays and themed scenes and this annual fundraiser. This event is best for pups who aren't easily overstimulated or reactive to other dogs or crowds. Pre-purchase your timed ticket in advance to guarantee your admission! Gate tickets aren't guaranteed during Walking Nights. You can also enjoy Driving Nights with Fido on other select nights.

Join the weekly trivia night at the Rocket City Dog Bar! Attendees can bring registered dogs, provided they meet vaccination and registration requirements. A dog day-pass option is available for those who need it. Enjoy a night of fun, games and furry friends!

Wander through themed trails with Fido, like the Magic Forest, Arctic Kingdom, Fairyland Caverns, and Carter Cliffs, where millions of LED lights illuminate rock formations, tree tunnels, and Santa’s cozy workshop. From December 6th through the 15th, and again on December 28th through the 31st, take a drive with Fido through this dazzling holiday light show set among the Garden’s scenic landscapes. There will be millions of twinkling LED lights, holiday displays and themed scenes to enjoy. Pups must remain inside vehicles at all times. During other select nights, you can also enjoy Dog Walking Nights with Fido.
