Dog Events in Nevada City, CA

This trail running fundraiser, hosted by the Carson Valley Trails Association (CVTA)., welcomes leashed dogs in the 2K family run/walk portion. The event supports CVTA trail maintenance and takes place at the James Lee Park trailhead. The 2K portion will begin at 9:30 AM and be held on an all-dirt trail.

This dog-friendly family event features a dog costume contest, pet-themed vendors and exhibitors, live demonstrations and fun activities for dogs and their people. Guests can also learn about Hearts 4 Heroes USA, a nonprofit that helps place emotional support dogs with firefighters, EMTs and EMS personnel, and meet some of the canines in training.

Bring your Chihuahua, Chi mix, or other friendly small breed dog to this fun meetup for an afternoon of off-leash play, socialization, and new friendships. Pups can enjoy treats, photo opportunities, a group photo, and goodie bags while supplies last, while owners connect with fellow small dog lovers in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Leash up your pup and join neighbors, community ambassadors and a local dog trainer to walk Market Street from 8th to 2nd and back! No RSVP needed to attend, but first 50 to RSVP and check-in at the walk receive a $50 Chewy gift card!
