Dog Events in Newport, NC

This pet-friendly celebration honors the special bond between people and their animal companions with individual blessings for pets of all kinds. Guests are invited to bring their furry friends for a meaningful gathering celebrating the joy, comfort and love animals bring to our lives.

This dog-friendly fundraiser features a 5K and an untimed 1-mile fun run through the scenic trails of Hammocks Beach State Park. Participants can enjoy quality time and exercise with their pups while supporting Misplaced Mutts, including its efforts to help dogs find forever homes and fund a spay, neuter and wellness clinic. All participants receive a T-shirt, and 5K registrants also receive a participation medal.
