Dog Events in Sister Bay, WI

A community 5K and 10K run/walk held as part of the Community First Fox Cities Marathon weekend that welcomes participants to bring well-behaved, leashed dogs. The event finishes at Riverside Park and includes family-friendly activities and post-race refreshments.

Leashed dogs are invited to join this family-friendly 5K and 10K run/walk supported by the Traverse City Track Club. The scenic 5K winds along hard-packed sand roads, while the 10K offers a more challenging trail experience. Stick around after the race to relax and celebrate at the medal ceremony. Dogs should remain in the car with you until just prior to the race start time. 10K starts at 8:30 AM, and 5K starts at 8:45 AM.

Bring Fido for a blessing and stay for a community celebration with a silent auction and old fashion games. This is a family-friendly event.

Celebrate everything Golden Retriever at a fun-filled festival that brings together dogs and their families for a weekend of socializing, outdoor recreation, and canine-friendly activities. Highlights include dock jumping, trick contests, swimming, hiking, beach time, pet-focused vendors, food trucks, and opportunities to connect with fellow Golden Retriever enthusiasts from across the country.
