Participants paddle kayaks, canoes, or stand-up paddleboards on Lady Bird Lake, and dogs are welcome on the water with a signed waiver and at the owner’s risk due to the possible presence of harmful algae and toxin exposure. Guests should use caution and not allow pets to swim or drink the water if it is warm or stagnant, or if scum, film, or algae mats are visible.
