Dog Events in Spring, TX

Houston Humane Society's 36th Annual K-9 Fun Run & Walk

Join us for a 1 mile jog/walk & party in the park. This day of food, fun and friends is themed “Remembering Radar,” to pay tribute to KPRC’s weather dog, Radar, who was adopted from the Houston Humane Society. This popular family event attracts 1,000’s of people and pets, who participate in our run, walk, costume contest, enjoy our HHS Alumni Parade and all of the vendor booths set up in Lynn Eusan Park on the beautiful campus of the University of Houston. For more than 50 years, Houston Humane Society has worked tireless to ending cruelty, abuse, and the overpopulation of animals while providing the highest quality of life to those in our care. HHS is committed to creating awareness of animal welfare throughout the Houston community by providing numerous programs for Houston area residents and their pets, including pet adoptions, humane education, R.A.I.D.E.R. cruelty investigations, and Houston's best high volume, low cost spay/neuter and wellness clinic.
