The Dachshund Dash, Parade and Costume Contest at Tulsa Oktoberfest

All registered racing Wiener dogs are welcome the Sunday only of Oktoberfest to zip, zag, and run to the finish line! Your Dachshund will be given a numbered hot dog bun costume and run 150 feet from one end of the Dash to the other. Dogs will run in heats of five to six pups. Wieners (winners) receive prizes! Pre-registration is required.

Start the New Year with a hike at Isle du Bois! Join one or all three hikes for the Tri-Park-A-Thon. Dogs are welcome on secure leashes, and if they're vaccinated and socialized. Meet at the Boat Ramp parking lot for a moderate, 2-mile hike on the Randy Bell Scenic Trail. Bring water, trail shoes and dress for the weather.

Dog Play Days at Gathering Place

Gathering Place’s Dog Play Days welcome leashed dogs on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays only, so owners can walk and socialize their pets on permitted pathways and grassy areas. Dogs are permitted daily on Tuckabache Trail (formerly Midland Valley Trail) and RiverParks Trail. Please note that pups aren't permitted in buildings, play areas, water features and landscaped areas.
