Dog Events in Strathroy-Caradoc, ON

All are invited to the lawn in the school area for this annual blessing. Please ensure Fido is leashed and all other pets are in carriers or cages.

Celebrate all things dogs at this two-day community festival featuring local pet-focused vendors, fun competitions, special guests, and a ceremonial keg tapping. Enjoy a day of tail-wagging activities, shopping, and community fun. Dogs must remain on a non-retractable leash that's no longer than 6' at all times.

Leashed dogs are welcome to this annual Bavarian celebration, featuring authentic German food like bratwurst, sauerbraten, spaetzle, and schnitzel, alongside cold German beers and festive polka music. The event will be held on Saturday from 11 AM until 7 PM, and on Sunday from 12 PM until 5 PM.

Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with activities for the whole family, including a Pet Costume Contest, trick-or-treating (for kids while supplies last) at participating stores, chalk zones, and live entertainment with vendors, music and more.

Dress Fido up in his best costume and come out for a fun-filled contest. Registration begins at 11:30 AM for all weight categories. Pups under 15 lbs will compete from 12:00–1:00 PM, 15 lbs to 40 lbs will compete from 1 PM-2 PM, and 40 lbs and up will compete from 2 PM-3 PM. Space is limited to the first 40 dogs registered in each weight category. All winners will be chosen by the panel of judges at the end of each round.

Kick off the holiday season with Fido at this celebration filled with lights, music and seasonal cheer. Guests can enjoy live entertainment, local vendors, food trucks, and interactive activities for all ages, leading up to the magical lighting of a towering Christmas tree.

The Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run is the original festive race for charity. It’s where you can strut your stuff in your favorite holiday costume and feel good about doing good. Bring a team of friends, family and co-workers to run or walk. Please ensure your pup is kept on a leash at all times. Check-in starts at 8 AM and the race begins at 9 AM.
