Experience history as it comes to life with a reenactment of the Declaration's reading just as it was presented in 1776. Leashed dogs are welcome, but please note that Fido isn't permitted inside buildings. Programs take place at 10 AM and 2 PM. Participants will begin at Sutler’s Row, where you can enlist in the militia and march to the historic tabby ruins at Wormsloe for the Declaration's reading. Festivities wrap up in the Colonial Life Area with the symbolic burning of King George III's effigy.

Leashed dogs are welcome at this beloved annual event! Guests can enjoy hayrides, games, sunflower photo ops, a photo contest and strolls through a blooming sunflower field at their own pace. Knowledgeable guides share park history along the way, and sunflowers and handcrafted artisan vases will be available for purchase. Please note that dogs aren't permitted on the hayride. Proceeds support Smithgall’s Cabin Fever campaign to restore a historic on-site log cabin. The event is weather permitting.

Take Fido out to the ballgame! Dog-friendly games are held on select Wednesday home games throughout the season, so make sure to check the website's schedule to catch a game. Bringing Fido along is free, but all dogs must sit in the Berm. You must also bring a completed Dog Days of Summer Waiver with you to the game, which can be found on their website.

Held on select Wednesdays throughout the season, these dog-friendly games invite fans to cheer on the Spartanburgers alongside their leashed pups. Dog owners will be required to fill out a waiver either online before the game, or on game night. Water bowls and other special treats will be available! Bring Fido out for a fun-filled day of swimming! Online registration is required BEFORE the event. There will be no day-of registrations. Large dogs (41+ lbs) can swim during the first session from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM; medium dogs (21-40 lbs) are welcome to the second session from 10:45 AM until 12:15 PM, and the third session welcomes small dogs (20 lbs & under) and senior dogs from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM. Dogs must be 3 months old and completed their first round of vaccines. Proof of vaccinations is also required.
