Spend the evening exploring downtown with Fido!Each Thursday, vehicles of all kinds gather for a lively community evening. Classic cars, hot rods, trucks, motorcycles, tractors, and antiques line the streets as visitors stroll the square, admire the rides, and enjoy the local atmosphere.

Bring Fido along to this fun event offering two separate distances: a half marathon and a 5K. Each race is 15 minutes apart.

On the first Friday of each month (except January and July), bring Fido and enjoy extended hours at dozens of local businesses, live music throughout town, engaging art displays, special events, exclusive deals, and one-of-a-kind experiences. It’s the perfect evening to explore, shop, dine, and enjoy the vibrant community spirit of Franklin.

Take a stroll with Fido through the historic district adorned with twinkling lights and festive decorations, while costumed carolers fill the air with classic holiday tunes. Guests can enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, period-inspired entertainment, and unique shopping at local vendors offering handcrafted gifts. Savor seasonal treats and warm beverages as you take in the sights and sounds of this magical celebration. Please note the event gets busy, as over 2,000 people are in attendance.

Leashed dogs are welcome at select outdoor activities during this festive all-day celebration kicking off the holiday season. The event includes a winter market with handmade goods, a lighted parade through downtown, food vendors, live entertainment and the lighting of the courthouse square.

All outdoor events at the Brown County Christkindl Market are pet friendly! Nestled in the heart of Nashville, Indiana’s unique community, the Christkindl Market brings to Brown County a traditional European holiday market full of one-of-a-kind gifts, family-friendly entertainment and Christmas spirit. There will be festively-decorated booths, live music and Santa and Mrs. Clause in attendance.

Bring Fido to get his picture taken with jolly old Saint Nick! Two-legged family members are also welcome to join in for a photo.

Bring Fido for a treat and photo with Santa! This event will be held in the Family Pavilion, next to the rocket ship playground.

Visitors can enjoy the dazzling lights by driving through the park or walking with their leashed pup if the weather permits. A festive sleigh near the Family Pavilion is available for photo opportunities. While admission is free, donations are appreciated, with a collection box conveniently placed near Santa as you exit.
