Dog Events in West Forks, ME

Enjoy Trunk-or-Treat for dogs, decorate Halloween dog cookies ($5, benefiting Long Journey Animal Rescue), free doggie mocktails, a pet costume contest and dog/owner games with prizes, and a spooky pet photo fundraiser. Refreshments, mini trick-or-treat bags, and special event discounts make this a festive, family- and pet-friendly celebration. All dogs must be leashed and vaccinated.

Join professional photographers Gini and Doug Haines for pet, family and kids’ photos. Photos start at $10 for a 5x7, with portrait packages, holiday cards, and novelty gifts featuring your pet also available. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are recommended to secure your spot.

Leashed dogs can join you at this holiday event celebrating all things Christmas in the German tradition. This event takes place Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Browse a variety of handcrafted items from local artisans, delightful holiday decorations, traditional food and beverage options, and more! Fido can even have his photo taken with Santa! Please note that there are five different sites for the market. Event organizers recommended that guests with dogs visit on less crowded days (generally Thursdays and Fridays) instead of during the busier weekend event days.
