The festivities begin with an annual Bike Parade around Avalon Lake, followed by exciting community performances, a variety of merchandise and food vendors, and a bounce park for all to enjoy. If you love to bake, don't miss the chance to showcase your skills in the Apple Pie Bake-Off. The event concludes with a spectacular fireworks show at 9 PM. Leashed dogs are welcome to join in on the fun, but if your pup is sensitive to loud noises, it may be a good idea to leave before the fireworks begin to ensure his comfort. See Details
Pet Friendly July 4th Boat Parade
July 4th Boat Parade Celebrate Independence Day at patriotic event that features festively decorated boats sailing along the Hillsborough River, beginning at the Tampa Convention Center basin, looping around Armature Works, and concluding at Sparkman Wharf. Spectators can enjoy the parade from several prime public viewing locations, including Armature Works, Channel Drive, the Tampa Convention Center, Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, Davis Islands, Harbour Island, Sparkman Wharf, and Water Works Park. A fireworks show will take place after the parade. If your pup isn’t comfortable with loud noises or busy crowds, you may want to plan accordingly. See Details
