Mardi Paws at Crate Escapes This festive day is inspired by the French Quarter! Guests will enjoy live music from Higher Love Entertainment and themed food and drink specials. From 12 PM until 3 PM, explore a vendor-filled Crate Escapes Carnival, and from 1 PM until 3 PM, meet adoptable pups through a local rescue. Annual McCloud Maple Syrup Days Leashed dogs are welcome to join you for a day of family-friendly festivities! Sugar maple trees at McCloud Nature Park produce sweet sap throughout the winter months. New Castle On Tap St. Paddy's Day Festival Bring your pup out for a day of festivities! Pup owners 21+ can enjoy trying drinks from over 20 craft breweries, wineries and distilleries from all over the state. Food will also be available for purchase from a variety of vendors. Fancy Fairy Days Fido can sniff out the spring fairies and sprites at this cute event! Guests are invited to create a Fairy House or fairy elixirs and have fun with other fairy-themed activities. See Details
Valpo Police K-9 Unit 5K9 Run & 1 Mile Dog Walk Held annually, this race welcomes participants of all ages, including runners, walkers and their leashed furry companions. Proceeds from the event help fund the training, equipment, and care of police K9 units. Join the fun to support a great cause and enjoy a scenic course while celebrating the hardworking K9 officers. Indiana Peony Festival Bring Fido out to honor the Indiana state flower at this fun festival! The historic Seminary Park will be bursting with peony blooms, and there will be peony growers, artisans, kids' activities, horticulture classes, floral displays, food and spirit trucks, and much more. Monumental Mile Doggie Dash You and Fido are invited to register for this fun-filled race with other pups and animal lovers. Eligible shelter dogs will also get to experience a “Freedom Day” to run in the Doggie Dash with volunteer handlers. Packet pickup begins at 6:00 AM the morning of the race. Registration includes a performance race t-shirt, a finisher medal, a doggie bandana, free downtown parking, a printed Doggie Dash race bib, and one free beverage (with proof of ID for participants 21+) at the post-race party. Huntington Tails & Trails Festival Lace-up your running shoes, grab Fido's leash, and head to this event, where you and your furry running partner can participate in the 5K or 1 Mile Dog Walk. Running with the Big Dogs 5k Run and 2-mile Dog Stroll Bring Fido out to this event by Crazy Legs Race Series! You can choose to participate in either the 5k run or the 2-mile walk.
