Pet lovers, pet owners, kids, and pets – this is THE day for you. It’s a dog day extravaganza filled with tons of activities for both humans and dogs. You don’t need a dog to love DogFest. Play all kinds of games meant for both dogs and their families like Pup Putt, Tetherball, Hide ‘n Seek, Ball Toss, Paw Painting, and 20 Yard Dash. Your dogs will love swimming and our huge agility course. Contests like Best Tail Wagger, Best Kisser, Best Trick, and more are judged by celebrity judges. Both you and the kids will love the Arenal Fitness CrossFit, a 20 foot high climbing tower, crafts, Irvine Nature Center Animal Program, Pet Jeopardy, Charm City Helicopter Rides, and more! Of course, there’s lots of food, demonstrations, dog rescue groups, and shopping with approximately 100 vendors! And remember to start the day off with the DogFest walk’s one mile stroll through Baltimore Humane Society’s beautiful wildlife sanctuary led off this year by local First Responders. Sign up now to fundraise for the walk. Remember – you don’t need to have a dog with you to love DogFest – just a love of fun and furry friends. Proceeds go to benefit all the animals at Baltimore Humane Society's private, non-profit, no-kill shelter.
