Pet Friendly Doggie Meet & Greet: Strut Your Stuff at Laurel Oaks
Doggie Meet & Greet: Strut Your Stuff at Laurel Oaks This heartwarming event invites dog lovers and their well-behaved, social pups to spread happiness and brighten the day of the residents at Laurel Oaks. Held indoors, this special gathering allows dogs to interact with residents while staying leashed for a safe and enjoyable experience. Free VIP parking is available in the facility’s lot, making it easy for attendees to join the fun. All pups must be current on vaccinations. See Details
Bark in the Park with the Detroit Tigers Bring Fido out to the ballgame! A portion of the proceeds from dog tickets will go to the Michigan Humane Society. Maximum of one dog per paid adult ticket. All dogs must wear an identification tag to the game and be accompanied by someone 18 years of age or older. No day-of-game sales. All participants must provide a copy of all up-to-date dog vaccinations upon check in (Rabies and DDHPP required). 2025 dates include April 21, May 13, September 2 & 16. See Details
Fast & Furriest 5K Run/Walk This chip-timed event, open to participants and their furry companions, is expected to draw over 300 people across Michigan. Enjoy prizes, t-shirts, and medals for the top three male and female finishers. Register by April 21 to guarantee your t-shirt and goodies! See Details
Off Leash Dog Play Day at The Old Miami Bring Fido in for some fun, off-leash play! This is a limited-capacity event so pre-registration is required. Dogs must be current on vaccinations. Humans must be 21+ to attend. See Details
Funtown Chowdown Food Truck Festival Bring Fido along and treat yourself and your family to excellent food, beer, and family fun the second Thursday of each month (May-September). The festival will feature will feature around 20 trucks from across Michigan with a variety of cuisine and desserts, live music, craft beer and more. The fun takes place in the parking lot east of the shopping complex. See Details
Balloons Over Bavarian Inn Bring Fido and enjoy hot air balloons competing in early morning and evening flights, plus nightly Hot Air Balloon Glows over Memorial Day weekend. With the events spread out on over 25 acres of Bavarian Inn property, there will be plenty of space for guests and canines to enjoy themselves! Frankenmuth Dog Bowl The world's largest Olympic-style festival for dogs features lots of high-energy activities for the pups like running, jumping, diving and retrieving! The Dog Bowl includes events you can watch and events that Fido can compete in. Activities include dock and disc dog competitions, sheep herding demonstrations, wiener dog races, a pet costume parade, and so much more. The Annual Canine Cruise on the Cass River and nightly Balloons Over Bavarian Inn in the River Place Shops field also happen this weekend! See Details
Annual Canine Cruise on the Cass River All aboard the Bavarian Belle for a 45-minute cruise narrated with Frankenmuth history and featuring fun photo ops with your pup. Proceeds benefit Frankenmuth Dog Bowl Inc., a nonprofit promoting responsible pet ownership. Limited to 75 participants per session, tickets allow one dog per person, and no refunds are available. The event is part of the Frankenmuth Dog Bowl weekend. See Details
Bark on Biddle Shop, drink, and play with your dog at this fun-filled festival! The three-day event will be held on the riverfront (just off Oak Street, east of Biddle Avenue) and a grass section of Bishop Park. A variety of pet related vendors will be selling doggy fashion, unique toys, homemade items, and sampling dog food and treats to four-legged attendees. Fido can also play at Puppy Foam Party, compete in dock jumping competitions, or race through the Lucky Dogs Lure Course. For humans, there will be a beer garden and live music to enjoy! See Details

Judy V Spencer 5K-9 Fun Run/Walk Bring Fido out to participate with you in this 5k event. The race is timed, and prizes will be awarded to the top two finishers, but all endurance levels are welcome. The race will start an hour after the packet pickup, at 8:00 AM. See Details
Michigan Food Truck & Beer Festival Bring your leashed furry friend to enjoy the delicious fan favorites while basking in the vibrant atmosphere. Indulge in items from popular food trucks serving mouthwatering treats like tacos, tortas, quesadillas, fresh fruit smoothies, beer, wine and more. Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. St. Andrew's Society of Detroit Highland Games Leashed dogs are welcome during the Saturday events only at this annual festival. Enjoy live entertainment, a pipe band competition, a heavy athletic competition, a dance competition and a parade of clans. Let your furry friend explore the Wee Bairns Area while you shop for Celtic crafts and indulge in Scottish and other tasty treats. Please note that dogs aren't permitted at the Ceilidh. See Details

The event features authentic entertainment, dancing, Oktoberfest souvenirs, various food selections, authentic Hofbrauhaus Oktoberfest beer, and the Annual Wiener Dog Race. Frankenmuth Oktoberfest Annual Wiener Dog Race Bring your Dachshund to this annual event during the Frankenmuth Oktoberfest. Over 200 dogs are anticipated to join, and you'll have the chance to win money, free overnight stays, and more. Each contestant will receive two free tickets to Oktoberfest. There will be 12 heats of 12 dogs; 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, all get trophies. All Dachshunds must be registered to race. See Details
Novi Pet Expo Bring Fido to Michigan's largest annual celebration of furry and feathered friends! There will be lots of vendors and activities for you and your pup to enjoy. Dogs and cats over 6 months of age are welcome with proof of current vaccination status. All pets must be on a 48" non-retractable lead, and cats should be kept in a stroller or carrier. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online in advance. The event hours are Friday from 2 PM until 8 PM, Saturday from 10 AM until 7 PM, and on Sunday from 10 AM until 5 PM. See Details
