Pet Friendly Funtown Chowdown Food Truck Festival
Funtown Chowdown Food Truck Festival BringFido along and treat yourself and your family to excellent food, beer, and family fun the second Thursday of each month (May - August). The festival will feature will feature around 20 trucks from across Michigan with a variety of cuisine and desserts, live music, craft beer and non-alcoholic beverage sales, designated handicap parking area, and additional activities for families. Pet Friendly Night Market at Beacon Park
Night Market at Beacon Park Drink, dance, eat and shop under the lights at Beacon's Night Market! A rotating list of local markers and entrepreneurs show off their goods as shoppers enjoy music from live, local acts or a drink and dinner from a variety of food trucks. Night Market is sponsored by DTE Energy Beacon Park Foundation and programmed and managed by the Downtown Detroit Partnership. Markets are held each Saturday. See Details
Jurassic Quest Drive-Thru Tickets will be sold ONLINE ONLY, and not be available for purchase at the gate. Jurassic Quest is America's largest and most realistic Dinosaur Event. Guests will drive through Jurassic Periods and experience for themselves what it was like to be among living, breathing dinosaurs. Jurassic Quest is the only Dinosaur event that has true to life size dinosaurs. People and pups must remain in their cars at all times. Ticket dates and time slots may not be changed once purchased. Rock N Roll K9s Performance Team Show The Rock N Roll K9s are bringing their high-energy and engaging performances to Frankenmuth River Place Shops! Daily shows are at 11:30 AM, 2 PM and 4:30 PM on the east side of the shopping complex near the Cass River Bar and Grill. Watch these dogs perform amazing tricks, dances and competitions with a lively music soundtrack and lots of laughs! Leashed spectator dogs are welcome! River Place Shops requires all guests to wear a mask to enter any enclosed spaces at the shopping complex or throughout Frankenmuth. Utica Antiques Market BringFido, on a leash, for a leisurely day outside, while checking out remarkable antiques. The Utica Antiques Market provides it all- from primitives to quality furniture, jewelry to books, pottery to glassware, you should be able to find your heart's desire as you browse the market. Food and restrooms are available for the public. Plan on wearing your walking shoes and dress for the weather. See Details
Farmington Fido Fest Farmington Fido Fest will be taking place in Riley Park during the Farmington Founders Festival. There will be hours of entertainment, including the Ultimate Air Dogs and Disc Dogs of Michigan High Flying Frisbee show! There will be a vendor village showcasing dog wearables, homemade dog treats, unique dog toys and dishes and samples of dog food and treats. Give your pooch a break at the Farmington Founders Festival Beer Tent. Enjoy delicious eats from food trucks and an ice cold beverage from the bar. Plus, there will be doggy cooling stations. Michigan Medieval Stroll Castle’s turrets and ramparts, Knights in shining armor jousting on great steeds, escape from a medieval Dungeon, many forms of entertainment including Musicians, Minstrels, Jesters and Fire Breathers, Viking & Medieval Knight encampments, ancient battlefield games to test your skills and plenty more activities for the entire family. Afterwards come meet the King and Queen with all the pageantry set with a backdrop of a medieval castle and enjoy a ice cold drink or a pint of ale or mead and a bite to eat, Like a Turkey Leg, at the Clansman Gaelic Pub. To be eligible to bring your dog to the Faire Grounds you must: • Keep your dog on a shortened lease (6’) at all times • Owners must clean up after their dogs • Only one dog per owner will be allowed • No puppies under the age of 6 months allowed • Owners must have full control of their dog at all times • Dog Owners must report any accidents to first aid immediately Failure to adhere to these rules the owner and dog will have to leave Canterbury grounds. Fur Ball Christmas in July Bring your Christmas spirit in the middle of the summer! Event will feature Santa Claus for the dogs to take pictures with, fun water events outside, a cookout for the humans and dogs with vegan options and games for the dogs to complete to win prizes. See Details
Dog Camp Not just camping with your dog but a summer camp with activities for you and your dog! You and Fido are welcome to come for a few days or the whole week. There are 90 grassy sites in the RV area. Cabins with bunkbeds and indoor bathrooms with showers are available. There is a large, heated pool for swimming and a mini-golf course. There are canoes or you can bring your own kayak or paddle board. Each day there will be dog activities – a fetching competition, a costume class, a small agility course, and Rally Obedience. Agility and Rally course videos can be submitted to AKC for virtual titles. There will be a couple of fenced areas for doggie playtime and kiddie pools for splashing and baths. See Details
Michigan Taco Fest & Cutest Chihuahua Contest BringFido along for 4 days of tacos , strolling Mariachi bands, eating contests (taco / hot pepper), cutest Chihuahua contest, Lucha Libre wrestling, mechanical bull challenge, monster truck rides, lawn games and family fun. Patrons will enjoy live music, dishes from 30 plus food vendors, a Kids Zone, and more! Taco Fest will showcase an unparalleled selection of unique cuisine, food trucks, and Tacos – along with a selection of adult beverages such as cervezas, margaritas (frozen options), palomas, specialty cocktails and over 40 tequilas to choose from. Hippie Fest BringFido to this grassroots festival where free-spirited people from across the country gather to celebrate peace, love, and all things groovy! Featuring live music, bohemian shopping, vintage hippie car show, DIY tie-dye, giant bubble garden, cirque performers, kids activities, delicious food, and more. Holly Dickens Festival You and Fido are welcome to the quaint and beautiful Village of Holly, Michigan! Step back in time this holiday season to the days of Charles Dickens’, and become part of “A Christmas Carol”. Your senses will be filled with smells of roasting chestnuts and hot chocolate, and maybe even a lit gruel! Lose yourself the music of Christmas carols sung on the streets, enjoy the colors and decorations of the shops, and feel the warmth of friends and neighbors as you are greeted on the streets.
