Pet Friendly Doggy Swim Day at Cape Splash
Doggy Swim Day at Cape Splash Dogs and humans can take a dip in the zero-depth entry and lap pools at Cape Splash! All dogs must be on a leash when entering the facility, and vaccinations are required. A private session will be held from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM (limit of 20 dogs). Dogs under 25 pounds are invited from 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM, dogs 25-75 pounds from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM, and dogs 75+ pounds from 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM. Limit of two dogs per human, and small dogs can attend a larger dog session, but large dogs must attend designated session. See Details
Pet Friendly Barkfest – National Dog Day
Barkfest – National Dog Day Bring Fido to celebrate National Dog Day at the dog park! Pups can splash around through sprinklers and in baby pools and can enjoy a doggie charcuterie board of dog treats. There will be photo opportunities and local businesses on site as well. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and leashed. See Details
Canine Carnival A fun day to share with your furry BFF! The event will feature vendors, an agility course, dog trivia, a food truck and more. See Details
Woof Fest at the KC Wheel This dog-friendly event invites pups and their people to enjoy a ride on the KC Wheel while supporting Great Plains SPCA. Admission includes a KC Wheel ride for up to two dogs accompanied by their owner, a souvenir photo, a pup cup treat, and a donation to help local pet adoption and animal welfare efforts. See Details
Doggie Dive at Liberty Pool This once-a-year event invites friendly pups to splash, swim, and cool off before the pool is drained for the season. Proof of current vaccinations is required, and owners are responsible for keeping their dogs under control and cleaning up after them. Humans are welcome to watch, but the water fun is for the dogs only. See Details
Big River Steampunk Festival Step into a world of Victorian-era imagination at this annual festival that brings creative flair to life with steampunk fashion, themed art and vendor markets, live performances, workshops, interactive exhibits, music, and gadgets inspired by alternate history and science fiction. Doggie Swim Bring Fido to this annual end-of-season community event where dogs can swim, play fetch, and splash in the pool while supervised by their handlers. The event is organized by Branson Parks & Recreation and requires owners to keep dogs leashed while on deck. See Details
Dog Day at White Birch Bay Bring Fido to enjoy a splash at the local aquatic center with other water-loving canines! All dogs must be recently bathed and provide proof of a current DHLLP and rabies vaccine at the door. Pups must also wear an ID tag at all times and always be accompanied by an adult human. Pooch Plunge at The Edge Aquatic Center Pups are welcome to plunge, play, socialize, and have fun at the EDGE! Handlers must bring a copy of current rabies vaccination record for each dog. Handlers must be at least 18 years old and sign waiver of liability. Dogs must be at least 6 months old. See Details
Dog Splash at Sunset Hills Aquatic Facility On Wednesday and Friday evenings, dogs are invited to cool off and enjoy some fun in the water! Proof of current Rabies and Bordetella vaccinations is required at registration. All dogs must be spayed or neutered, and puppies aren't permitted. Each adult age 16 or older may bring a maximum of two dogs. See Details
Duo Dash Bring Fido out for this 5K race and 1-mile dog walk fundraiser. The mile Dog Walk will step off at 8:15 AM. The starting line will be located at Son's of Rest Shelter inside the park. See Details
Downtown Doggy Dash Join fellow dog lovers for this annual race celebrating the bond between people and their pups. Participants can choose between a timed 5K or a 1-mile fun run/walk, with both courses welcoming dogs and walkers. Dogs receive a bandana and finisher reward, while post-race festivities include dog-friendly games, splash zones, treats, and activities for pups and their people. See Details

Bark at the Park with the Kansas City Royals Take your leashed dog out to the ballgame to celebrate with organizations committed to animal welfare. A waiver stating that your pet is up to date on vaccinations is required, which you can fill out beforehand or upon arrival. 2026 Bark at the Park is scheduled for April 1, May 6 and September 23. Saint Charles Oktoberfest Wiener Takes All This family-friendly event features exciting Dachshund races, tasty food, kids’ activities, and local vendor booths with unique finds. Only Dachshunds participating in the Wiener Takes All race can attend the event. A rabies vaccination certificate is required to participate.
