Lights in Greenawalds
Leashed dogs are welcome at this annual walk-through event featuring holiday light displays throughout South Whitehall Township. You may even see some familiar characters throughout your stroll. The concession stand even has dog treats for Fido!

Christmas Village in Philadelphia
This authentic open-air German Christmas market will feature holiday sights and sounds with thousands of twinkling lights, festive Christmas decorations, live music at the main stage, children’s activities, European foods and drinks, and photos with Santa. Leashed dogs are welcome in the outdoor areas and large parts of the indoor tent area (except in the Käthe Wohlfahrt vending area). Please keep in mind that the tent area gets pretty crowded on weekends, which might be uncomfortable for your dog.

Joy through the Grove at Knoebels Amusement Resort
Bring Fido along to this drive through Christmas light display! The light display will begin near Impulse roller coaster, travel down the park’s main boulevard, and throughout much of the campground. There will be over 15 miles of string lights, and over 400 light-up pieces. The drive-thru display can be viewed nightly but is closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. No buses or motor coaches permitted.

Bring Fido on the best pet-friendly scenic train rides in the country at the Santa Claus Special. Climb aboard an enclosed or open-air coach from the 1920s for a 16-mile journey through the beautiful Pennsylvania wilderness, accompanied by Saint Nick himself. On the 1-hour narrated train ride, you’ll learn about anthracite coal’s role in the Industrial Revolution and enjoy stunning views of the Lehigh Gorge. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to ride the train free of charge.

Bring Fido along to enjoy this annual drive-through of thousands of lights and light displays featuring lighted trees, tunnels and animated characters. The path is one mile long through the park. Mark your calendars for this event, where owners and their four-legged friends are invited to enjoy a delicious breakfast together. During the jolly event, visitors can spread holiday cheer while supporting the Humane Society of Westmoreland County!
