    Description

    The Applewood Manor is one of Asheville?s longest continuously operating bed & breakfast inns and the house will be eligible for application to the National Historic Register in 2012 when it has reached its centennial age. The pet-friendly Cortland Cottage was constructed as a garage around 1950. This newly renovated one-room romantic cottage is approximately 500 square feet and is located 30 feet from the main house with its own parking space. Inside the cottage, there is a king-size bed, heart-shaped champagne bubble tub surrounded by mirrors, separate shower, and wet bar with small refrigerator. There is also a Tudor gas heater with ambiance fire log display, sofa, antique ice cream table with two chairs, TV/DVD player, and iPod clock radio. A three-course breakfast is served daily, along with complimentary refreshments from 3-5pm.
