  A rough time in Williams

  When we first got to our hotel, they informed us that there would be no water for 24 to 28 hours due to water pipe repair, if we wanted to cancel. We decided that we could handle that length of time due to the fact that most of it was going to be spent away from the hotel. Unfortunately, the water was not back on after the 28 hours due to after the pipes were repaired and the water was turned back on, another pipe busted and the water works were going to have to dig down into the ground. This was all a misfortune , but they did refund a portion of our bill. The room was nice and the personnel was nice. Luckily, there was a public restroom near the hotel that open 24 hours.

  GREAT location, very spacious

  This Motel 6 is in a fantastic location (Starbucks and Safeway right next door!). The entryway to the motel reception area is large and welcoming, and our room w/ 2 Queens was spacious. The reception team put us on the front floor, near the breezeway, so it was easy to get the dogs in and out. There is a potty area near the breezeway, with bags provided. For the most part, it appeared that people were doing a good job picking up. Also a plus, coffee in the morning available to all guests, and though no microwave in room, there was one near the coffee machines for guest use. Definitely would return.

  Roaches!!!!

  Room has a weird smell. Couch is old. Windows can’t open. Bathroom is old with stains and they didn’t have any extra toilet roll. Next day when checking out, I saw 2 roaches crawling on the wall in the living room area to the kitchenette. Also, the housekeeper came knocking at our door and say that we have 5 minutes to check out and it wasn’t even near the checking out time. Never will I come back here again.

  Not going back

  The price for the room is what attracted me. The staff was friendly. The room was bare bones, nothing extra or fancy. Plus, there was a very unpleasant chemical smell (possibly from cleaning products) that was always present in the room and hallways.

  Dirty

  Bed had crumbs of some kind in it, shower had hair from the previous people who stayed. Floors were dirty. Not good.

  Dog friendly

  clean, cheap and dog friendly.
  had a room by the pool- only complaint is people still don’t clean up after their dogs at the potty station.... come on folks

  Inexpensive and clean place near Grand Canyon

  I spent a lot of time searching for dog-friendly places near GCNP. This Motel 6 was clean and had a super easy check-in. Highly recommend.

  Thankful for this motel

  My friend and I decided to go camping 20 minutes from the Grand Canyon with my dog but the owner of the campsite failed to mention he had 7 dogs 3 of which were extremely aggressive; feeling unsafe with the situation I decided to look around for a hotel/motel anywhere literally that was pet-friendly and had a room for 4 days. I came across this place and I’m thankful I did. There was no extra charge for my pup and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. They even have a patch of grass and waste bags for dogs. The last night of our trip we wanted to experience the night life of Williams but my pup was extremely exhausted and needed rest but whines if I leave him so one of the front desk women said she would watch him for us because she could use the company. We got to go out for a few hours and came back to a happy pup. This is not a luxury hotel and you won’t like if that’s what you’re looking for but everything was clean and everyone was friendly.

  Decent Motel

  If you manage your expectations (it’s a motel) then this place is pretty decent. Traveling across the country with a dog and a cat makes the “No Pet Fee” pretty sweet. All of the furnishings seemed fairly new and the 24 hour coffee helped out. No breakfast but the staff was plenty friendly. Probably a 3 bone stay but the convenience and friendliness of the staff pushed it up to 4 bones for me.
