  Clean and good value

  Pros: Clean and quiet. AC worked well. Good water pressure and water temperature. Covered picnic tables. Would stay again / recommend. Lots of PCT / JMT hikers stay here - hiker box available. On site laundry or 24 hour laundromat across the street. Great location convenient to restaurant as well as mountain. Cons: pet 'areas' could be better maintained, be larger, and be fenced; stairs are sharp metal and not suitable for dogs (no elevator). The particular room I was in would be a tight squeeze for two people especially with ski gear.

  Newer two star property

  An either new or recently remodeled property, I heard infrequent noise from upstairs. The A/C was noisy. I did nopt sleep well at all - kept waking up. Would not stay again.

  Basic but quiet

  Comfortable accommodation, close to several eating places. They were undergoing construction this week, so the pet area was small. You would think with the gigantic profits that Motel 6 makes they could afford Kleenex, hair dryers and coffee pots.

  Locked Out Of Our Room Rude Staff

  We simply couldn’t open the door as soon as we got our key. Thinking it was the key, it wasn’t. The doorknob was jammed. We notified staff and she said she wouldn’t walk in the dark with two strangers and a dog to let us in. We had our receipt and ID’s on us. She also stated that we could get our stuff off of her property. I told her I would if they would let us in our room! We left to the store and came back. I figured if we’re locked out, she would have to let us in or I can call the cops for her withholding our property in a room we paid for. We came back and requested another room with a door that works. She stated she wasn’t going to give us another room that could accommodate us and tried to give us a double bed for the same price I paid without lowering the price. I paid $116 for a queen bed. They let us in our room finally, we decided to pack our stuff and find somewhere else to go. Horrible service and the owner was NOT dog friendly!
