The issues are almost too many to list. Security. My partner locked himself out of the room. (His name was not on the reservation, nor was he present at check-in). He told the front desk that he needed a replacement key. They issued him a new key on the spot without checking his ID or contacting me. This happened twice with different staff.
Cleanliness. The bed’s head board was covered in some sort of oil. Looked like hair oil—you could see the impression of hair in the oil. Ew. Also, the laminate floor was filthy. I took a shower after walking with bare feet on the floor; when my feet got wet the water turned BLACK. Those floors haven’t been mopped in a very long time, if ever. Oh yeah, there was no hot water for shower. Fun.
I could go on about a bunch of other smaller things. But what’s the point? The place is not even close to clean. And they literally will give a key to your room to anyone who asks for one. Bring Clorox wipes and deadbolt the door.

If I could give a minus 10 I would. This place is disgusting. We found a used needle in the shower and someone taped toilet paper to the peep hole on the door. Public safety hazard. Don’t stay.

Only give it one night. It’s not suitable to stay for an extended period but works well short term as a layover. There is some good potty spots. Better for the dog, not so much for the humans.

An okay place to stay for one night with dogs. Staff was friendly. Location was good. No microwave, no mini fridge. Unfortunately, they only had a smoking room available. Definitely will not stay in a smoking room again. Terrible smell. The only good thing about the room was that it was on the bottom floor and parking was right in front of the room.

Not a frilly place, but it was perfect for a quick night! Front desk informed me that all Motel 6 locations are dog friendly.

We were in the last room on the third floor furthest from the elevator so it meant quite a walk to take the dogs out to go potty. In addition, I especially ordered a room upgrade to a room with a refrigerator and a microwave to heat the dog’s chicken broth. There wasn’t one in the room and they couldn’t get us one. Quite a disappointment.
