It's a half-hour drive to the Golden Gate Bridge, and there are great retail and dining options at The Shops at Tanforan, a 10-minute drive from the hotel. The free continental breakfast is a great way to fill up for a busy day of travel or sightseeing, with a selection that includes freshly baked waffles and pastries. The hotel's free airport shuttle runs to and from SFO every half-hour, and guests with cars can park securely on site. Uncluttered guestrooms are decorated in warm, soothing tones. My dog enjoyed his stay. I also was pleased. The hotel room was clean and there was a Keurig with teas and coffees complimentary in the room. It took a few minutes for the shower water to heat up, but when it did, it was a nice temperature and there were nice dispensers with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Free continental breakfast in the morning and they have a nice outdoor area with chairs and fire pits (although the fire pits were covered when I stayed there). There wasn't anything special for dogs that I could see, but I am thankful that he was welcomed.
